First to second quarter of 20th century - Tuareg. Collected in the 1970s.


Typical example of Tuareg takouba. Leather covered hilt over metal guard and grip. Pommel features alternating layers of stacked brass and copper.

Blade features half moon makers marks and shallow, ground triple fullers. Clean condition overall. Excellent example of a 20th century Tuareg sword.
