A very nice brass hilted curved takouba. The blade is native and features a small single fuller. The brass hilts match what we see in many takouba with typical geometric designs.

The sword was originally from the Umlauff collection, which means a minimum age of 1910 when it would have been collected.

This is an important - dated and curved takouba and it is a pleasure to be able to host images of it on this website - many thanks to the owner of the sword.
