This is a nice curved takouba showing the same form as Takouba 90 on this site. A slightly curve in a single edged and fullered blade. Likely drawing on military sabre patterns.

The pommel is made from steel stacks and the grip an interwoven leather pattern that seems to be distinctive to the Nigeria/Cameroon border area. The scabbard has unusual and quite attractive decoration in a contrasting leather color. This may help to make a tribal attribution in the future with more research.
