Perhaps 19th century, but also early 20th century possible - Tuareg.

Comments

An unusually robust and heavy native made blade. Appears to be a single piece rather than the more usual plates welded to the forte - but could be thin plates. Quite thick and heavy, however the fullers are nicely forged and the half moon stamps are clear and detailed.

The pommel is typical of swords from the Air region and of typical quality. Overall a good solid sword, with some odd characteristics. A nice example of an entirely native manufactured sword.
