19th or early 20th century - Cameroon border regions?

A broad flat bladed takouba with a nice bronze pommel. This example has some unusual leather work on the hilt which may point to a Cameroon area origin.

The blade is like other wide flat blades on takouba being flexible and sharp with visible pitting likely from the smelting of the iron ore and forging process.

The pommel is smaller than many seen but as the blade is quite light the balance is still decent.
