Second half of the 20th century - likely Fulani.

A nice saber, likely Fulani judging by the baldric tassels which should place it in the Nigerian or Cameroon region.

While a later sword, it is a nice complete piece showcasing not just the sword form but also the leather and textile skills of the region.

These sabers were probably popularized by access to European cavalry sabers from the Colonial period.
