From the collection of: Mauro Coltorti

19th century or early 20th century - ethnic group unknown

A odd and small takouba with a curved blade.

The blade is native but very well made with a subtle fuller and diamond cross section. Quite sturdy and sharp as well.

The hilt is entirely leather wrapped and bound with leather thongs. There are few if any clues to be had about who used this sword in the past. But due to the length and style I would lean towards something between the Nigerian and Cameroon border.
